Green Party Membership ... 500 Greens leave but overall membership is increasing???

Excellent thread over on Politics .ie about 500 members of the Green Party leaving since entering Govt in 2007, but the Green Party membership is increasing overall. Yeah, I know... something definitely sounds fishy. An influx of PD's maybe? That would explain a lot ...
