Stag Hunting banned

This blog has been very critical of the Green Party in Government. However, credit where credit is due. Stag hunting is now illegal in Ireland. The Bill to ban Stag hunting was passed last night by 75 votes to 72 in an electronic vote, and then by 75 to 71 in a walk-through vote.

Well done John Gormley and the Green Party.

    This blog tries to be as fair as possible Eoin. I have pointed out Green Party achievements and successes where they exist. The problem is that there are very few, and they are very far between ...

    I'm also delighted that the bill went through. I am more than surprised at Labour's position on this. Shame on them. Any of them who are members of anti-blood sports campaigns should be struck off. Hypocrites.
